2019 Burns Supper success

The Cornhill Highland Games fundraising Burns Supper held on Saturday 25th January has been hailed a success by organisers. Guests enjoyed traditional haggis, neeps and tatties following the Presentation and Address of the Haggis and were entertained by guest speaker Brian Hutchison.  Hipflask Ceilidh Band played a variety of traditional Scottish dance tunes and modern classics to keep the dancefloor busy throughout the night.  Fundraising efforts on the night included a raffle and whisky bottle roll, generating over £300 for the Games funds. 2019 Burns Supper – Date For Your Diaries

The 2019 Cornhill Highland Games Burns Supper has been scheduled for Saturday 26th January 2019. This year the event will take place at The Fife Lodge, Banff.  Guests will enjoy traditional Burns meal of haggis, neeps and tatties followed by dessert and tea/coffee. Entertainment for the evening will be Hiplflask Ceilidh band, returning following demand after the 2018 Burns Supper event. Tickets priced £25 are available now, contact us to order. Guests enjoyed traditional haggis, neeps and tatties following the Presentation and Address of the Haggis and were entertained by guest speaker Jim Brown.  Hipflask Ceilidh Band played a variety of traditional Scottish dance tunes and modern classics to keep the dancefloor busy throughout the night.  Fundraising efforts on the night included a raffle, whisky bottle roll and photo booth.  Total income from the evening exceeded £500.
